Dr Patrick Doncaster is Leader of the UK Darwin Initiative project to develop a mammalian wildlife corridor for Belize. In his other research, he has directed studies on food-refuge interactions in diverse animals, including foxes, hedgehogs, badgers, squirrels, stream fish, and rocky-shore periwinkles. He has authored a textbook on experimental design. His theoretical work has involved developing and testing theory to demonstrate population density triggers for the evolution of sexual from asexual reproduction, and non-senescing from senescing organisms. |
